Christmas '14

December is always such a full month.
Pictures and memories from our happy month.

Community Christmas party at our beach, mailing letters to Santa, Christmas caroling with the Girl Scouts, decorating cookies, ward Christmas party, we did it all!

This years Christmas lights.  My "lollypop" was a new feature.

Finally it was Christmas Eve!
My aunt sent us a Christmas play-doh set years ago.  We still pull it out every year.

The girls came up with the snowman mashed potatoes idea themselves.

Shortcake was so excited to get to sleep in the big girl room for Christmas Eve.

It was a happy month.  And thanks to modern technology, in the days following Christmas, we were able to skype with our families.  We talked to Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Texas and even Ukraine!  We've ended 2014 as usual, feeling happy and blessed.

BONUS photos:
Since real snow is a rare treat for us, Santa left some fake snow.  Interesting stuff.

Hit 1,000 miles on my running shoes!  Still in good condition!  And still very grateful for such a generous gift.
