Simple Things

There are a lot of sad and scary things in this world.
Hymn #298 says "Home can be a heaven on earth."
I think I've begun to understand what this means.  I'm so grateful that no matter what crazy awful things may be going on in this world, I'm able to find simple joy and peace for myself and for those that I love. 
A song by Jim Brickman comes to mind. 
I feel blessed far beyond what I deserve.
