So here it goes!
First stop: UTAH
Call me biased, but E Mae is actually quite the little author. And first things first. Sharing her latest book.
If we've said it once, we'll say it a thousand times more. They're twins.
Caught a matinee.
Aunt Lou spoiled them all rotten and took them to Build-a-Bear.
Then we all pretended to be Pintrest pros and hosted our own indoor drive-in.
Found a FUN swimming place during our Utah visit.
Spent an evening at Uncle's house.
Hit up a place called "Jump Around Utah" My sister got some really fun pictures!
Our last night in Utah we did our best to end things with a bang!
Then it was off to: IDAHO
Stopped off in Rexburg to catch a visit with our favorite BYUI auntie.
Our summertime trips to Idaho almost always include an evening at the drive in.
And EVERY trip to Idaho, we manage to squeeze in a trip to Blast Off.
This trip we also scoped out a new place called Fat Cats.
Unfortunately I don't have a raving review of the place. A lot of their stuff was broken. But we made the best of it.
We went to visit Great-Grandma a couple of times while in Idaho. But we went back for one more visit before heading on to our next leg of the trip.
Next stop: COLORADO
On the way to Colorado we found the shnazziest gas station ever.
What's the first thing you do when you visit Colorado during the summer?
HIt the pool of course.
But playing with cousins when you're all dry is good too.
But having a glow-in-the-dark dance party in the garage with cousins is the BEST.
(It's hard to tell because of the camera flash, but it was dark and we were all wearing glow sticks.)
Congrats on graduating Aunt Crystal!!!
One night while we were there, Grandma and Grandpa took on all 7 grand kids and sent the rest of us out on a date. It was such a nice evening. We enjoyed ourselves and just really enjoyed hanging out together. And we had a lot of fun with the camera on my phone . . . .
We spent some time in Estes Park. It was a nice little evening soaking up some nature.
Since we live so far away from family, we do our best to schedule our summer trip around things like baby blessings if we can. This year we were lucky enough to make that possible again.

Playing dress up is a MUST.
One of my favorite traditions that we have with my love's family, is the dying art of hand churned home-made ice cream.
(Just kidding, these two are great dads and did a heck of a lot more than just churn a little ice cream that day.)
And at Grandma's house,
If you give a mouse a cookie . . .
. . . you're probably going to have to throw him a party to go with it.
Memories. Lots and lots and lots of memories.
